Labor is committed to genuine, on-going two-way engagement with young Australians. I want to make sure your voice is heard by the Albanese Labor Government.  

Your life is affected by decisions in every part of government and it’s important that you have a real say on the things that you feel must change.

At the recent election Labor committed to many plans, including responding to dangerous climate change and implementing the Uluru Statement from the Heart in full – to name a few. Labor also committed to introducing a new Youth Engagement Model. This will provide a voice and structure for younger Australians to directly engage with government and to contribute to policy development, by establishing a framework to engage with young Australians directly and formally on an ongoing basis and commencing a dedicated Office for Youth. There is much to be done by the Labor Minister for Youth the Honourable Dr Anne Aly.
